If you love sweet treats at Christmas time, this Snowman Mix is perfect! Do you have little ones? Mine loved being a part of adding ingredients to the bowl and folding the mixture together! Let me tell you how I made it!
2 Cups of Rice Cereal Squares
1 Cup of Marshmallows
1/2 Cup of Raisins
2 Cups of NESTLE’s Red & Green Chocolate Morsels
1/2 a Block of White Almond Bark
Begin melting your almond bark. (For this step, I like to use my double boiler.)
While your chocolate is melting, toss together the cereal squares and raisins. (You may want to omit the raisins and use nuts instead. You may not want to raisins or nuts. You might rather use pretzels. Anything goes!)
After your chocolate is completely melted, remove it from the heat, and allow it to cool for a minute or so. (Don’t let it sit too long or it will harden!)
After it cools a smidge, pour it over the cereal and raisin mixture.
Thennnnnnn, toss in the red & green chocolate morsels and the marshmallows.
Very gently fold this entire mixture – but don’t mix too much or the almond bark will start melting everything and you will have a mess on your hands. It will be a delicious mess, but it won’t be pretty.
After lightly folding everything together, lay the mixture out on wax paper and just let it sit for an hour or so.
Once you lay it out on the paper, you may want to toss another handful of chocolate chips out on to the mixture!
Either way, it will be perfect.
